After today's updates, the screen no longer resets to max upon starting X. HOWEVER, now when I press the FN-down arrow key to reduce screen brightness, my keyboard stops functioning for anything other than reducing or increasing screen brightness. -- hardy changes screen brightness to max

For a while between alpha 5 and 6 this problem changed for me so that it was only occurring when starting X (ie logon or resume), but now the random jumps to maximum brightness are back. (It is also resetting to max at login or resume.) -- hardy changes screen brightness to max
