Unreadable text Terminator on Ubuntu 20.04
* This has been found that this error was caused by a MISSING FONT
* Someplace during the Ubuntu 19.10 to Ubuntu 20.04 upgrade process the font
Courier New was completely removed.
* It is not clear what the use-case would be to removea font in the first place.
* Nothing in the removed packages

A quick look at your attached screenshot (thank you for including),
makes me wonder if it's a font issue. Have you checked that? A support
site may help.
