I just reinstalled kubuntu and while using my laptop my touchpad stopped
working. I restarted my computer and now the touchpad doesn't show up at
all and doesn't work. I followed the instructions here
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingTouchpadDetection#In_case_your_Touchpad_doesn.27t_work_at_all_.28No_response_from_the_Touchpad.29
and the instructions say to file a bug since I don't see a synaptics
touchpad entry in /proc/bus/input/devices. As instructed, I will also
attach that file.
