Follow post of a work around that automatically enables the resolution I want. I added a file named: 45custom_xrandr_settings in folder: /etc/X11/Xsession.d containing: xrandr --newmode "Mode 0" 241.50 2560 2608 2640 2720 1440 1443 1448 1481 +hsync -vsync xrandr --addmode HDMI-1-1 "Mode 0"
