Public bug reported:

Hello,
I want to use NVIDIA TESLA card on Ubuntu 20.04. Monitor is driven by Intel
integrated graphics and the processor is Xeon E.
I installed CUDA drivers downloaded from this link :
https://docs.nvidia.com/cuda/cuda-installation-guide-linux/index.html#runfile
I used the runfile as it was suggested on some posts online.
The file I am using is :
cuda_11.1.0_455.23.05_linux.run
When I install this file and reboot I can't see appearing the log in prompt ,
Ubuntu shows up until a purple screen but doesn't arrive to the log in screen.
the system is up and working as I enabled opensssh-server and I can connect to
it correctly.

If I install the same file following the same sequence of operations and using
the same HW but with Ubuntu 18.04 this problem does not happen.
On Ubuntu 18.04 the monitor continues to work correctly after installing the
NVIDIA driver and the TESLA card can be used without problems.
