Public bug reported: When the "export" file dialog is shown (after pressing the "Export" button), it disappears suddenly after a few seconds, without user intervention.
HOW TO REPRODUCE IT: - Launch gnome-sound-recorder - Record some sound - Press the STOP button to end recording - Press the "OK" button to confirm the recording - Press the "Export" button; a file dialog will be shown - Wait After a variable number of seconds (between two and ten), the dialog will close suddenly, without user intervention. It should last until the user chooses a file, or press cancel. It seems a problem with the garbage collector, because the file selector widget is stored in a local variable. Storing it in a property of the object seems to fix it (patch attached). ** Affects: gnome-sound-recorder (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Patch added: "Patch proposal" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1904351/+attachment/5434611/+files/patch.diff -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1904351 Title: gnome-sound-recorder's "export" dialog disappears suddendly, without intervention.
