Public bug reported:

This is an upstream bug that was fixed in June, but didn't make it in
time for the 20.10 release.

I'm experiencing this now on 20.10, which makes sense since the latest
release available in the repo is 4.3.0+dfsg-1build2, amd the 4.4.0
release which fixes it happened in early October. Reporting this bug so
we can make sure >= 4.4.0 is in 21.04 to close this off and prevent
further issues on multi-head setups.
