Public bug reported: This is an upstream bug that was fixed in June, but didn't make it in time for the 20.10 release.
https://krita-artists.org/t/4-3-beta-crash-assert-krita-screen- qguiapplication-screens-size-screen-0/8226/8 I'm experiencing this now on 20.10, which makes sense since the latest release available in the repo is 4.3.0+dfsg-1build2, amd the 4.4.0 release which fixes it happened in early October. Reporting this bug so we can make sure >= 4.4.0 is in 21.04 to close this off and prevent further issues on multi-head setups.
