The gramps 5.1.2-1 program works just fine if installed with all of its
dependencies.
I installed it using the synaptic package manager which included all
dependencies required.
It has a Icon and it works. No problems at all.
I can confirm the bug on Ubuntu Focal (20.04). (I am not sure about
Groovy.)
