Public bug reported: I couldn't completely install the server. Mysqld was installed so I tried starting it. It reported "segmentation fault". So I examined mysqld with the file utility which reported that it was a shared object.
I then downloaded the package directly from the ports.ubuntu.com pool, extracted mysqld and checked it, to determine if the provider of my distribution altered it. The package I downloaded from the pool also contained mysqld as a shared object. BTW: I'm in the process of building mysql on a Tab A with 3 gig of memory. I hope that's enough😄. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1909264 Title: Problem with ‘mysql-server-core-8.0_8.0.22-0ubuntu0.20.04.3_armhf.deb To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1909264/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
