rsync backup
Hi Terry,
I have reinstalled on the new hardware. The source zpool disks are
unchanged; just moved from the old machine and imported. I have
restarted three times since and have experienced no failures. Install
media was the same 20.10 USB drive that was used with the failing machine.

felt this was looking more like a FW or hardware issue. I am anxious to

Thanks for the response.
I have sort of tried with -36. The rsync always hung when it was working
on a large file; an outlook.pst file for example. I have not run the
backup script since it did work using the 5.8.0-33 kernel.
However, I have since updated the kernel to 5.8.0-36. I us
