Alsa mixer no longer seems to be installed which i used to use for adjusting 
settings too.  Booting from previous kernal in grub recognizes Asus Xonar sound 
card and usb camera.  Built in sound previously broken hence the need to 
install sound card. PC is Lenovo S30 Thinkstation
