Hi there, I had the same bug on live session and after installation on a virtual machine using virtual manager. Here is the screenshot that shows how plank behaves after changing the monitor resolution: https://imgur.com/a/0Nc5Mxl If plank is closed and reopen it behaves the normal way. --

This issue is missing details about your system. Please run apport-collect 1922805 Note. I'm not the maintainer of plank - this doesn't feel like a valid use-case but I'll leave that to the plank maintainer to decide. You should really logout and login which you can do in a live-session.
