Currently, the linux-ubuntu-modules package for the "virtual" kernel
type used on virtual machines doesn'tinclude the ES1370/1 drivers used
for the sound card that VMware emulates. As a result, when using this
kernel with VMware productsyou get no sound. Could the proper modules
be included in the package such that sound works? As it stands, I have
to build my own kernelto get both vmhgfs (which is included in the
"virtual" kernel) and sound.
