Same bug here. Happens with multi-stream .ogm and .mkv files. When
trying to change audio streams (languages) or subtitle streams during
playback, video freezes in totem, audio keeps playing.
These files work fine with VLC.

video freezes when turning off subtitles
Only the video freezes. That application remains responsive. Play/Pause
does not restart the video or audio. Switching the Subtitles back to
english yeilds no result either. Yet all the menus open and close as
they should. Minimize/Maximize work as well. Just no video.
I'll check when i get back
