Public bug reported:
Sometimes when updates are available, a notifier appears on the
launchbar and when it is clicked a panel pops up giving me the option
of <ok>, <cancel>, <view> and <not now>.
Clicking on either <view> or <ok> results in no action whatsoever.
This is embarrassing.
