WiFi adapter disappears from network manager and

Able to confirm this package is the problem as the issue can be reversed by 
downgrading to
> linux-firmware 1.187.15

Our organisation has had at least one other identical device experience the 
same issue before
> apt-mark hold linux-firmware
was pushed out.
