Public bug reported: When I ran Giara for the first time, it gave a button for logging in, which opened a Reddit login confirmation for Giara in my default browser, Firefox. After confirming that, Firefox asked me to open a link in Giara. That failed, with Giara printing:
Error authorizing Reddit client, retrying… Error authorizing Reddit client after retry, quitting… Before that, Giara displayed link starting with orggabmusgiaradesktop:// and ending with #_ on the terminal from where I started it. That # and all characters after it need to be removed for a successful login. Simply run Giara from the command line with that link as the only argument, with those characters at the end removed.
