You're absolutely correct! I did not check that. After the context menu
disappears, Trash becomes un-right-clickable.
Whether it needs to produce some sort of a feedback or offer at least a
single action, i.e. Open/View Trash, is a valid question.
The bug is present on Ubuntu

I can reproduce this on Ubuntu 22.04 development branch
but i can only right mouse click it once to see that context menu in
left upper corner
after that right clicking trash, does nothing anymore
