Public bug reported: When the Internet is unplugged, Profanity hangs. It’s so frozen there is no way to quit gracefully -- no way to enter “/quit”. The only way to terminate is to kill the process externally (“pkill profanity”).
I’ve seen Profanity hang at other times as well, so it may not always be related to loss of connectivity. version → 0.10.0 ** Affects: profanity (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1951704 Title: Profanity freezes in a hung state when uplink connection is severed To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/profanity/+bug/1951704/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
