Xorg's radeon module unloaded because you have disabled the radeon hardware with the 'nomodeset' kernel parameter. You need to remove that. Make sure you're not accidentally booting in recovery mode. ** Tags added: radeon ** Package changed: xorg (Ubuntu) => xserver-xorg-video-ati (Ubuntu) **
