version bumps for our LTS series as per the HWE exception policy (e.g.
in bionic). I don't see us having any concrete written down arguments

That confirms userspace fix works. You need BIOS that sets D3 policy
accordingly. Otherwise you can manually run PCIe rescan for now after you have
authorized devices.

Hi vicamo,
After install the bolt_0.9.1, the tbt3 storage could be recognized and
authorized. There are no error message: "parent not authorized,
deferring". But the tbt3 storage didn't show in gnome-disks.
So I installed the 9027-oem kernel, but it's the same issue. The
storage couldn't be
