I tried running google-chrome against "stock" gtk-3 built similar to
follows:
sudo apt build-dep libgtk-3-0
apt source libgtk-3-0
cd gtk+3.0-3.24.33
quilt pop -a
rm debian/patches/series
rm debian/*.symbols
DEB_BUILD_OPTIONS=nocheck dpkg-buildpackage -uc -us -d -j16
Also tried building with 'CC=g
@seb128 that requires debug symbols? There is no debug symbols package
for Brave and to compile it from source would take hours
I also tested this with Xubuntu and Pop!_OS and there is no issue there,
so this is Ubuntu specific. Probably not in gtk3 then, as Xubuntu and
Pop!_OS use same package, m
I've the same issue. It started to happen when I installed Ubuntu 22.04
I did a clean install not an upgrade. Everytime a file picker dialog opens it
freezes the browser to any inputs. I gotta close the browser and start it again
to get back working, btw I use brave.
