I tried Alpha 5 today (just live cd, without installing). The error
message [UEAGLE ATM] requesting firmware ueagle-atm/DSPep.bin failed
with error -2 still appears for a brief second before the x-server is
loaded (like in 8.04), but doesn't prevent the live cd from loading like
it did in 7.10. My

upcoming Intrepid Ibex 8.10 release. As a result, the kernel team would
appreciate it if you could please test this newer 2.6.27 Ubuntu kernel.

Attached all the logs and two photos: the first photo shows a series of
messages that appeared after I pressed the restart button, the second
one shows some mesages that appear about 3 seconds before the restart. I
used Ubuntu alpha 6, but I could install and try the beta if it is
needed.

I tried Ubuntu 8.04 alpha 6, and the live cd boots and installs
successfully. However, the mentioned message appears for a split second
before the login screen shows up; it has also began to appear over and
over when I clicked 'log out' once, though I couldn't reprocduce it
