Same bug here, same fix (commenting out v4l). What about Hardy users?
This is supposed to be a LTS release, supported until 2011. No package
for Hardy at your PPA, no bug fix, and bug marked as invalid...

0.4.1 is obsolete, i'm currently releasing 0.6 along Gnome 2.22. You can
find packages at my PPA.
