This issue has bounced around several projects, but IIRC the
Kernel-Restricted-Modules project added it a few months ago. The output of
/var/log/Xorg.0.log would be irrelevant as this is a wrapper that downloads
a firmware file which then loads when the IVTV or BTTV module loads.
