Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: ufw

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ sudo ufw status
[sudo] password for shirish:
To Action From
-- ------ ----
80:tcp ALLOW Anywhere
80:udp ALLOW Anywhere
6667:tcp ALLOW Anywhere
6667:udp ALLOW Anywhere

As one can see it doesn't tell whether the firewall is enabled or not? That
should be known.

I don't see any other way to do that, if I do

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ sudo ufw enable
[sudo] password for shirish:
ip6tables-restore v1.3.8: ip6tables-restore: unable to initialize table 'filter'

Error occurred at line: 1
Try `ip6tables-restore -h' or 'ip6tables-restore --help' for more information.
WARN: problem running ip6tables

which means its enabled on next startup, no way to know what's the
status as of now.

** Affects: ufw (Ubuntu)
