file from after reproducing this issue. If you've made any customizations to

Yeh I still have that problem.
Allthough I don't understand your remark that it workaround should not work
with Hardy (8.04) because itr works fine at my machine.
My problem is that the switch from laptop screen to VGA and vise versa doesn't
work.
