[HARDY] update-manager spamming
Same problem even at this late date. FWIW, this is also with 64bit
Intrepid on a machine that previously ran Ubuntu Studio until the RT
kernel stopped working. Seems like quite a coincidence, no? Apt-get
updates do procede after the warning messages, so this is just annoying
spam for me. But
When installing something, or removing an application I also get the
same warning. It hasn't caused me any trouble yet. I'm running Intrepid,
the 64bit version.

I can confirm those error messages, but nevertheless package
installation runs fine. So if you get an error of failed installation
you have another problem than this.

I have almost identical message - only noticeable difference is line
12 for line 10). But, no longer have the E: Sub-process ...
section.
Sorry, I cannot be any more exact about how problem came about I have
part-broken re-fixed the system trying to get sound to work (removed
StudioUbuntu)
