Public bug reported: Description: When running xen kernel, opening OpenOffice writer and accessing menus freezes hardy alpha 6 on acer Extensa 5620. Other applications seems to work ok.
Blame: openoffice.org-writer 1:2.4.0~rc2ubuntu3; ubuntu-xen-server 0.0.1-2ubuntu8 (I know this is not a real package, but I am not sure which underling to blame) uname -r: 2.6.24-12-xen Note about dmesg attachment: xen kernel gives warning about /lib/tls with solution how to avoid it. I used the proposed solution and this doesn't seem to affect OO.o, nor does it remove the warning in dmesg (though it doesn't show on startup). Is there some diagnostics I could run to make problem report more useful? ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Openoffice freezes system on xen kernel https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/201810 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
