I'm experiencing the slowness when using a clean install of hardy alpha 5 or alpha 6. To me this is a show stopper. I use it all the time on 7.10 and it's fast. It is basically unusable right now. To duplicate, install a clean install of Hardy alpha 6. Then connect to another machine on the ne

Seb, you are right; removing file-roller does fix things. With file-roller installed actions like selecting directories, moving the selection with either the arrow keys or the mouse, opening directories, drag-and-drop, took about 3 seconds. Is this a known bug ? Please let me know if I can help w
