Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: linux-image-2.6.24-12-generic

Ubuntu: 8.04 (Hardy)
Package: linux-image-2.6.24-12-generic
Version: 2.6.24-12.22

Easiest to see here:
http://packages.ubuntu.com/search?searchon=contents&keywords=cx88-alsa&mode=filename&suite=hardy&arch=i386

/lib/modules/2.6.24-12-generic/kernel/drivers/media/video/cx88/cx88-alsa.ko
is not there.

Moving from linux-image-2.6.24-11-generic to linux-
image-2.6.24-12-generic, it seems cx88-alsa.ko was removed...was this
intentional? If so, what is the intended source of the driver?
Attempting to build from kernel source, it seems that
CONFIG_VIDEO_CX88_ALSA is no longer accepted.

** Affects: linux (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
