Public bug reported: In Ubuntu Cinnamon's whitelabel.yml, the following stanza exists:
pages: locale: image: "ubuntucinnamonlogo.png" try-or-install: image: "ubuntucinnamonlogo.png" This overrides several images to match Ubuntu Cinnamon branding. The only problem is, the Ubuntu Cinnamon logo that exists as /usr/share/desktop-provision/ubuntucinnamonlogo.png is an entirely white logo with a transparent background... and the installer screen itself is white. The logo is being rendered, it's just not visible. Until Ubuntu Cinnamon can come up with a public SVG somewhere that works as a replacement, we're falling back to the generic mascot from here: https://github.com/canonical/ubuntu-desktop- provision/blob/main/packages/ubuntu_provision/assets/images/mascot.svg ** Affects: ubuntucinnamon-environment (Ubuntu) Importance: High Assignee: Simon Quigley (tsimonq2) Status: Confirmed ** Changed in: ubuntucinnamon-environment (Ubuntu) Status: New => Confirmed ** Changed in: ubuntucinnamon-environment (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => High ** Changed in: ubuntucinnamon-environment (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) => Simon Quigley (tsimonq2) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2060725 Title: Ubuntu Cinnamon Installer has non-visible icon on starting page To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubuntucinnamon-environment/+bug/2060725/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
