unfortunately no - I switched to Arch Linux and my company has now a
transparent proxy configured.. sorry :(

I have the same problem too with Google Calendar synchronizer.
Using Intrepid.
My traceback is so similar.

To be more specific, it's the Google Calendar synchronizer which
crashes, the app stays alive.
