when select new text doc, then select format, page, page.

Ok even with Ubuntu 8.04 final this bug still exists now on my desktop
and laptop both 64-bit clean installs. What gives.

Ok I'm now getting the exact same problem on my desktop and laptop using
the Hardy daily build AMD64 version
(http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily/current/hardy-alternate-amd64.iso
09-Apr-2008 07:32).
I get the problem on a clean install on both machines AND during the
Live CD session (also on both
The openoffice.org meta-package isn't installed by default because there
isn't enough room to include all of the openoffice.org related packages
on the install cd. Sometimes we see bugs that are caused by parts of
openoffice.org not being installed which is why I asked you try seeing
if installing
Installing the openoffice.org meta-package did not solve the problem.
(On a side note: Why isn't it installed in Hardy from a clean install?)

Yeah it's from a clean install. I can't get my laptop to reproduce this
either. I'll just wait for the rc and do a clean install and check
again.

Works for me. Does installing the 'openoffice.org' meta-package resolve
the problem? If so then please let me know, because the problem may be
caused by a missing file somewhere.
