Going to the "Login Window" configuration applet (to change how login
works... aka... themes, automated login, etc etc) has a very LONG delay.
I have only had to go to this page a few times, and it will take
generally longer than 30 seconds. I've tried opening other windows and
programs in the meantime, and I have found that it might be linked to
that.
am currently running the most updated Hardy Heron 8.04beta 4/2/08 with
the new 14 kernel (instead of the 12... ).
