This is not so much a bug report as it is a feature request of sorts. Is it
possible to install and use PulseAudio's pavutools instead of the gnome/Alsa
mixer by default in 8.04.1 (I realize I'm a bit late for 8.08) ?
It would help hotpluggability of audio devices a bunch, I think.
