Binary package hint: virtualbox-ose
There was a recent kernel update put out, so my system is now using
2.6.24-15. There doesn't look to be a version of the virtualbox modules
for the latest kernel available. I updated synaptic and did a search, I
have virtualbox-ose-modules-generic selected and installed as well as
virtualbox-ose-modules-2.6.24-14-generic, but don't see anything for
2.6.24-15.
This is what VirtualBox says when I try to start a VM:
VirtualBox kernel driver not installed. The vboxdrv kernel module was
either not loaded or /dev/vboxdrv was not created for some reason.
Please install the virtualbox-ose-modules package for your kernel and
execute 'modprobe vboxdrv' as root.
