You need to play with the channel priority. Increase the channel
priority of the channel you want to take precedence and then increase
the package priority of php 5.2.3 in the channel with lower priority.
This is a special case and generally smart should not look at migrating
these settings on
Smart does have this concept, but this configuration is not
automatically migrated from apt to smart upon its installation.
So, this ticket is more about having this automatic migration be
performed.
