In 4.2 there is a button for previews. Not having previews by default
makes loads of sense considering kioslaves are network transparent and
previewing 1000 photos from (e.g.) a remote machine accessed via sftp
ought to be a PITA pretty much.

yeah it works all but its not what i mean realy i mean that i should be
default like the normal browsing to set file previews on.

Pressing F11 in the open file dialog will give you a preview.
I think that it should either be there by default or there be an easily
discoverable option to enable it. (Mouseover a picture == enable, perhaps?)
