After installation, Edubuntu complains about incomplete language support

edubuntu-desktop depends on gcompris langpacks
We will have to figure out a way to have gcompris know what language it
should be installing to do anything different than make all the language
package be Recommends for edubuntu-desktop. You can remove the unneeded
languages easily after installation and we are using a DVD now so have
room for
http://packages.ubuntu.com/intrepid/edubuntu-desktop confirms that it
does depend on gcompris lang packs.
However gcompris itself doesn't depend on the language packs. Is this a
way of making sure that we pull the language packs in?
