Public bug reported: Binary package hint: fast-user-switch-applet
With a fully up to date Hardy as of 19-Apr-2008, in order to change the color of the text displayed in my gnome-panels, I use a custom .gtkrc-2.0. Seems that fast-user-switch-applet is the only one that does not honor the GTK customization, and continues to display text in black instead of #00ff00 (bright green) as specified in .gtkrc-2.0. $ lsb_release -dr Description: Ubuntu 8.04 Release: 8.04 $ apt-cache policy fast-user-switch-applet libgtk2.0-0 gtk2-engines fast-user-switch-applet: Installed: 2.22.0-0ubuntu2 Candidate: 2.22.0-0ubuntu2 Version table: *** 2.22.0-0ubuntu2 0 500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com hardy/main Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status libgtk2.0-0: Installed: 2.12.9-3ubuntu2 Candidate: 2.12.9-3ubuntu2 Version table: *** 2.12.9-3ubuntu2 0 500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com hardy/main Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status gtk2-engines: Installed: 1:2.14.1-0ubuntu1 Candidate: 1:2.14.1-0ubuntu1 Version table: *** 1:2.14.1-0ubuntu1 0 500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com hardy/main Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status ** Affects: fast-user-switch-applet (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- fast-user-switch-applet does not honor .gtkrc-2.0 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/219585 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
