Daniel, you may have for instance XFCE and Gnome users on the same
machine. Or you log in to either a XFCE or Gnome session depending on
what work you are going to do. I think the xscreensaver preferences
could be called XScreenSaver in honour of its proper name, I don't
think the Design Team, who

I'm coming here from Bug #382475. Can these two packages be made to
conflict with each other? I don't see a good reason why anyone would
want both installed, and I don't think the Design Team is keen on having
menu entries like XScreenSaver and GNOME Screensaver.
(arrgh... how do I mark this as
Reopening. If for some reason both packages are installed, the menu
names are identical.
