Public bug reported: Running current Hardy Heron (April 20, 2008) remote printers not shown in gnome-cups-manager and "detect lan printers" is greyed out (cannot be clicked)
This is true whether click to start gnome-cups-manager via System->Administration and on down to g-c-m or if I start g-c-m from a root terminal (having set a password for root, setting DISPLAY, running xhost + etc.) Net is, even running g-c-m as root I cannot set the "detect lan printers" and all of my printers are hooked to servers. I would tag this as a show stopper for Hardy. ** Affects: gnome-cups-manager (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- detect lan printers no longer settable https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/219907 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
