While OP is old the bug is still there - in my case streaming radio
station -> suspend -> resume -> no sound -> freeze when clicking play.

the backtrace doesn't seem to be a hang one, how did you get it? what you
should do to get one is:
- run rhythmbox under gdb
- suspend
- resume, go to the gdb prompt, ctrl-C, type "thread apply all bt full", copy
the log to a comment
