additional work, but I didn't know you've filed a sync request.
BTW: Do you mean the sync of version 20080705? I am asking because I
recently noticed that Ubuntu is still shipping 20060301

Thanks for your work Martin.
Please don't sponsor this just now. I just filed a sync request for the
package from Debian with 2 years worth of improvements.
I'll take these patches and submit them back to Debian so that we
can sync again before FF.

I confirm the bug. The bug is filed against the Ubuntu bash-completion
package, and a fix is not committed for that. So I set the status from
'Fix Committed' back to 'Confirmed'. I'm not sure whether the assignment
to Mika Fischer is valid, so leaving that as it is.

Thanks for reporting this. I've fixed it in git. If you need to fix it
you can use the attached patch, but I guess it is easy enough to just
work around the bug for now :)
