plugins, etc. I tried re-installing Firefox from synaptic, all with no
luck.

It seems to me when this problem occurred it would be when i would shut

In the end I moved my .mozilla folder to a new location and started

into the new one that was created and that seemed to work fine.

Little bit strange: first I saved all *.sqlite-Files in another folder.
After that Firefox worked fine. After that I copied one sqlite-file
after back into the original folder. After every copy I tested Firefox
and every time it works fine. After all, every sqlite-File were in the

Started happening few hours ago. Deleting places.sqlite seems to stop
this behaviour. Just to check if it's not extensions-related bug, it

Please, if you seee this, _dont_ delete all sqlite files. first: take a
backup of your profile so we can look what exactly is broken. Remember
that if you delete those files you probably loose data.

you only need to delete the sqlite files in your profiles directory.
e.g.:
rm /home/xxx/.mozilla/firefox/k7clqron.default/*.sqlite
restart firefox and you're done.
Most probably only one of the sqlite files causes the problem, but I did
not find out which it was.
