Binary package hint: xorg
I use the nVidia driver for my graphics card. If Visual Effects on the
Desktop Background are set to anything other than none it causes the
help screens to disappear. An example would be if you opened calculator
and use the menu path Help>Contents. If you now click on introduction
the screen disappears. I am running Ubuntu 8.04 AMD 64
