Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-games

According to http://games.yahoo.com/help/rules/mjs&ss=1 any "seasons" tile will
match any other seasons tile. The same is true of a few other groups of cards.
Mahjongg does not seem to honor this rule, and insists on exact matches, which
is an incorrect behavior.
To reproduce:
1. Begin a game
2. Play until two different "season" tiles (e.g. Summer and Winter) are exposed
and playable
3. Try to pair them -- it will fail, but should not
I've observed the matching behavior described as correct in other programs,
both open and closed source and from a variety of producers.
