OK, 've found a workaround to this.
It works with repos fglrx and AIGLX, out of the box.
Since we are limited (by compiz or fglrx driver, don't really know) with
texture resolution (Comparing resolution (2560x1024) to maximum 3D
texture size (2048): Failed.), we can not use Compiz on a dual

Comparing resolution (2560x1024) to maximum 3D texture size (2048):
Failed.
That's the key line, your video card does not support textures large
enough to fit your current screen resolution. This is a hardware
limitation.

You're right.
After spending hours making the not present lines change to present (I've
had a lot of strange behaviors after installing proprietary ati/amd from their
installer, and then trying envy), I still have the last line :

However ... I still think it's a bug as I have X800GT with 512Mb DDR3 on
it, and The Web shows some other less powerful cards with only 64Mb
running theses resolutions.
