This bug refers to a file present in the ubuntu-specific patch in
earlier xen-tools versions and may be still present in hardy, but is
definitely fixed in Oneiric and later as those package versions have no
ubuntu-specific patch anymore. I'm hence closing as Fix Released.

This bug breaks tty1 on dom0 by rewriting dom0's /etc/event.d/tty1, and
has a really simple fix (removal of 100-ubuntu-setup) -- why hasn't it
been fixed yet?

It does indeed duplicate part of what 31-ubuntu-setup does. However, it
happens to run after 05-shadowconfig-on and before 15-disable-hwclock so
it's not even running where it was assumed that it would run. Not good.
This would account for xvc0 being appended to /etc/securetty 67 times on

I believe 100-ubuntu-setup is obsolete since 31-ubuntu-setup does the
same (and more)? So 100-ubuntu-setup should be removed instead...
